The Mobile Aircraft Check Vehicle features dual function capabilities: (1) Mobile office and (2) Mobile workshop, which allows SIAEC to deploy maintenance crew out at apron and work in comfort.

The Mobile Aircraft Check Vehicle can be deployed out on the apron for to support short checks at the flight line. The mobile aircraft check vehicle is self-sufficient, and carries its own workshop tools and equipment in order to reduce time wastage from travelling to and from the hangar. Equipment is stowed neatly and safely on-board the vehicle, while allowing ease of retrieval on site.

The vehicle provides shelter to personnel on the apron during inclement weather, and it also includes its own lavatory so that personnel can be stationed out on the apron without having to travel back to the nearest facility that has a lavatory.

The Mobile Aircraft Check Vehicle also features scene lighting to illuminate the area surrounding the vehicle, improving visibility in the dark and allows for 24/7 maintenance operations out at the apron. The vehicle reduces the need to tow the aircraft back to hanger for major jobs, improving productivity and reducing aircraft downtime.
