The Decontamination Vehicle is a special purpose vehicle designed to control a large-scale Hazmat incident within a short period of time. It can perform continuous decontamination for a large number of victims who are able to use the self-help electronic decontamination shower stalls to clean themselves.
On top of the eight interior shower stalls, four exterior lying showers are built into the sides of the vehicle for victims on stretchers. There is also two berm bags to contain the run-off, an ozone decontamination machine for the interior and two super silent generators power the vehicle.
Additionally, the vehicle is capable of transporting a troop of responders or up to 12 casualties on stretchers to enhance operational effectiveness.
