The long-range expedition vehicle is designed to help the client in a charity drive event covering more than 22,000 kilometres from Singapore to Sweden in promotion for awareness of breast cancer.
Several modifications were carried out to prepare the road going Isuzu D-Max for the long journey. The suspension and undercarriage were upgraded to withstand the different road conditions. The fuel tank was swapped out with a long-range tank, allowing the vehicle to drive a longer distance on a single fuel load. A rear mounted motorcycle carrier was installed to carry an accompanying supporting motorcycle in the event the motorcycle broke down. An external awning shelter was installed to have shelter in the field if repairs were needed to be done. A dual battery system is also installed to provide electrical power for the extra appliances to be used in the vehicle.
